Tickets available for pancake fund-raiser

Pancakes and sausage are on the menu again this year as the Demopolis City Schools Foundation and Jack’s Restaurant team up for a fundraiser Tuesday, April 20.

Tickets for the dinner are $5; drinks are extra. The tickets are available from any Foundation board member or by calling Foundation office at 289-2226.

Deadline for purchasing the dinner tickets is Monday, April 12.

The fund-raiser is one of the ways the Foundation is able to pay for the projects, programs and equipment that cannot be funded through the Demopolis City Schools budget.

Since it began in 1993, the Foundation has awarded more than $756,000 in grants to teachers in the public schools.
