Terry Michael “Mike” Megginson

Terry Michael “Mike” Megginson, age 46, of Sweet Water died on Aug. 23, 2010, at Southwest Alabama Medical Center in Thomasville.
He was born on Dec. 17, 1963, in Grove Hill. He was an electrician and a heating, venting and air conditioning technician and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Christy Megginson of Sweet Water; his mother, Margaret Megginson of Miller’s Ferry; four sons, Michael (Heather) Megginson of Linden, Kyle (Courtney) Megginson of Sweet Water and Cole Megginson and Ryan Megginson, both of Sweet Water; a daughter, Lana Megginson of Sweet Water; three brothers, Brent (Lesley) Megginson of Thomasville, Eric (Pasha) Megginson of Sweet Water and Mark (Jennifer) Megginson of Senoia, Ga.; a sister, Teresa (Greg) Ingram of Miller’s Ferry; four grandchildren; three nephews and eight nieces.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Aug. 26, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Rex Jackson and Perry Dailey officiating. Burial was at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed the services.
Active pallbearers were Brent Megginson, Mark Megginson, Eric Megginson, Michael Megginson Jr., Kyle Megginson and Devan Bordeaux. Honorary pallbearers were Mike Megginson’s cousins and friends.
