Benjamin Moore, Sr.

Benjamin Moore Sr., age 69, of Birmingham, a former native of Forkland, passed on Sept. 1, 2010, at Cooper Green Hospital in Birmingham.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. at the Lloyd Chapel Baptist Church in Forkland. The Rev. Claborn May officiated. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis directed the services.
Survivors include his wife, Avis Moore of Birmingham; daughters Patricia (Stephen) Redrick, Merle (Jimmie) Warmley, Carmen (Eugene) Hinton, Theta (Charles) Warren Moore, Tara (Wilson), Kimlyn Jordan, Alexis Moore, Benjamin (Ruby) Moore Jr., George Winn, Fred (Mamie) Kindred and Teno; siblings Mattie L. Crenshaw, Willie Mae Davis, Fannie (Ruben) Parker and Sidney Moore, all of Forkland; and ahost of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
