Linda Burnham and Betty Baxley look over the Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital Auxiliary’s yearbook that took second place honors in statewide competition last month. Sponsored by the Alabama Council of Hospital Auxiliaries, the annual competition is split into small, medium and large hospital categories.

Because of the increased number of volunteers at BWWMH during the past year, the book, compiled by Baxley, was entered in the Medium Size Hospital category for the first year. “It was a full-time project for a year,” she said, “but it was a labor of love as well. We were all so pleased to do so well in our new category.”
