to whomever at the demopolis times that this may concern….your inability or defiance of reporting on the games that the demopolis high basketball teams have played this year really leads me to believe that this paper is run by biased editors and reporters. With that being said i will definitely not buy another demopolis times paper because when football, softball or baseball season begins, i’m sure there will be nonstop coverage….BIASED!

I am sorry you feel that way. But I do appreciate you expressing your concerns. Feel free to e-mail or call us at any time with any concerns you may have. I can assure you there is no bias against any of the teams or schools in our coverage area. If you will check back over the course of the season, there are not many basketball games that have been covered at all. It has nothing to do with bias, it is merely an issue of a lack of writers. We are always happy to accept any help anyone is willing to offer from stringers to call-ins. Unfortunately, during basketball season, we have received none of the above.
Also, please note that we have never opted to cover a game from any other school on a night when Demopolis had a home game. There exists no favoritism in our coverage plan.
Again, thank you for expressing your concerns and please feel free to continue to do so in the future.
