Mickey Hobson Adams, 61, of Sawyerville died Aug. 21. Born Nov. 17, 1949 in Greensboro to Mosley Wesley “Doc” Adams and the late Inez Elizabeth Arrington Adams, he is survived by his father, Doc Adams, sister Susan (Bubba) Hall of Greensboro, brother Dennis (Kendall) Adams of Greensboro and a special caregiver, Linda Sue Hodge.

Graveside service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Ramey’s Chapel Cemetery with Brother Steve Vernon officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing.

Pallbearers include Ralph Howard, Jim McClesky, Paul Ogelsby, Charles Thomas, Scott Williams and Mike Rylee.

Honorary pallbearers include Jim Fuller, Ottis Morris, John Jay, Benny Arnold, Scott Arnold, Cecil Jackson, Wynn Coleman, Jim Witherspoon, Larry Collins, Hazel Massey, Carol Warren, Betty Barkley, Steve Barnette, Mike Compton, Tommy Washburn, Ralph Pate, old goffing buddies at Lake View Country Club in Greensboro, members of Lock 6 Hunting Club, Hale County Ambulance Service and nurses and staff of Hospice of West Alabama.
