Mrs. Lou Ethel Byner, age 75 of Demopolis, Alabama passed October 12, 2011 at U.A.B. Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Funeral Services were held Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 12 noon at the St. Paul Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. D. Smith, Pastor. Rev. John Kennard officiated. Interment followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama. Survivors include her children, Cynthia I. Byner, Birmingham, AL., Kenneth (Tunya) Byner, Stone Mountain, GA. and Josephus Lewis, Summerville, S.C. Two treasured granddaughters, Heather Coles, Woodbridge, VA.and Kendyl Byner, Stone Mountain, GA. Five sisters, Elizabeth Brown, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Yvonne (Carol) Lytle, Angela Harris, Jackie (Peter) Jones and Edith (William) McCall, all of Philadelphia, PA. One stepbrother, Isaiah (Ann) Mack, Linden, AL; devoted caregiver, Cynthia Dent, Birmingham, AL; devoted friends, Ann Mack, Cora Kelly and Hattie Wright.
