Annie Louise Hill Gates, 48, of Sweet Water died Jan. 25 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis.

Born Sept. 29, 1963 in Butler to Mallie Louise Jowers and the late George Hill, she was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, James Shelton Gates, of Sweet Water, mother, Mallie Louise Jowers of Sweet Water, brother Benny Jowers of Sweet Water, sister Angela Gates of Fulton, nephew Jesse Gates of Fulton and nieces Tiffany Jowers of Sweet Water, Brittany Jowers of Forkland and Katlen Gates of Fulton.

Graveside service will be Monday, Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

Special music at the graveside by Billy David Ballard and Lisa Bishop, both of Sweet Water. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 1:30 to 2 p.m. before the service begins.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Gtes, Jeff Kelley, Champ Smith, Jimmy Ballard, Billy Ballard and Buddy Smith.
