Dorothy Rose Evans Taylor, 69, of Linden died Jan. 30 at her residence. Born April 16, 1942 in Vicksburg, Mich. to the late Paul Stanley and Daisy Huntington Evans, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dewey Evans.

She is survived by her husband Nathan Stewart Taylor of Linden, sons Jeff (Terri) Taylor of Demopolis, Todd Taylor of Nashville, Tenn. and Brad Taylor of Linden, grandchildren Jay (Rebecca) Taylor of Calera, Tracy Taylor of Northport and Chad (Lauren) Taylor of Demopolis as well as great grandchildren Eva Michael Taylor of Demopolis and Elliot Grace Taylor of Calera.

Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. at Church Aflame with Revs. Mickey Green and Drew Dockery officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis chapel directing. Burial followed in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers included Tom Taylor, Jeff Taylor, Todd Taylor, Brad Taylor, Jay Taylor and Chad Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers were Comfort Care Hospice.
