Doris Brown Ott, 75, a homemaker of Demopolis, died Monday, Feb. 13 at UAB Hospital. She was born July 13, 1936 in Marengo County. She was a member of the County Line Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn (John) Beverly of Linden, sister Ann Beverly of Arlington, granddaughters Crystal (Charlie) DAw of Demopolis, Lacy (Brooks) McCants of Demopolis and Heather (Kent) Ott of Demopolis, great grandchildren Kaitlyn Dutton, Heath Dutton and Carlee McCants and niece Lena Ann Maness of Arlington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, F.R. “Kit” Ott and mother Lena Mae Dickson.

Graveside funeral services were held at Thomaston Cemetery on Friday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. with Dr. Randy Creel officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers were the staff and members of Southern Oaks Assisted Living.
