Margaret Wood Davies McCants Parker “Marwood”, age 93, of Demopolis, died March 2, 2012. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Monday at St. Andrews Cemetery with Rev. J.D. Barnes officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

Mrs. Parker was born May 13, 1918, in Gallion, Ala. to the late Benjamin W. Davies and Margaret F. Davies.

Survivors include her son, Robert B. McCants III (Betty Gordy McCants) of Demopolis; brother, Benjamin (Bub) Wood Davies Jr. of Niceville, Fla.; nephew, Robert Gardner Davies of Pensacola, Fla.; grandson, Brooks McCants (Lacy Beverly McCants) of Demopolis; and great-granddaughter, Carlee Brooke McCants of Demopolis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Andrews Cemetery or Trinity Episcopal Church.
