Louise Martin Brown, 87, of Thomaston died May 10 at Marengo Nursing Home in Linden. Born April 17, 1925 in Teays, West Virginia to the late Sam Martin and Musetta Griffy, she was preceded in death by her parents Sam Martin and Musetta Griffy, daughter Susan Wright, sons Richard Sheffield and David Wilson, four grandchildren and a brother, Sam Martin Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Dorothy (Richard) Lawrence of Uniontown, Brenda (Andy) Jones of Greensboro, sons Robert (Ruth) Sheffield of Cuba, Larry (Coline) Sheffield of Thomaston and Donnie (Kathy) Wilson of Uniontown, 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m. at Christian VAlley Cemetery with Brother Randall Mims officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

Pallbearers will be Amanda Wilson, Wendy King, Allen Hall, Colby Wilson, Robbie Sheffield and Tim Lawrence.
