Joseph Wade “Joey” Hall

Joseph Wade “Joey” Hall, 64, of Myrtlewood died Saturday, Aug. 18 at Baptist Medical Center – Princeton.

He was born July 12, 1948, in Waycross, Ga. Joey was a caustic operatr with James Rivers Corp. He attended Myrtlewood Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Corbet Hall.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Hall; a son, Mitchell (Laurie) Hall of Myrtlewood; a daughter, Michelle (Parish) Pugh of Thomaston; his mother, Juanita Hall of Myrtlewood; a brother, Michael L. Hall of Atlanta; and two grandchildren, Parish Pugh II and Joseph Pugh.

Funeral services were held at Myrtlewood Baptist Church on Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 1 p.m. with Dr. Randy Creel and the Rev. Greg Bright officiating. Burial was at Myrtlewood Cemtery.

Active pallbearers were Bob Crawford, Kevin Knight, Greg Bright, Ray Gibson, Charles Phillips, Jerry Gaddy, Julian Anderson and Ron Snell.

Memorials may be made to Marengo Academy or to the American Heart Association.
