The Linden Patriots dominated in their first home game since the 2010 season with a 34-14 win against the St. Luke’s Wildcats of Mobile.

Taking advantage of the Wildcats fumble in the opening drive, the Patriots responded with Quarterback Anthony Robinson Jr. connecting for a 29-yard pass to Jalen Lewis for their first touchdown.

“I think our team played well and I am very proud of our efforts,” Linden Head Coach Andro Williams said.

The Patriots went into the halftime dominating against the Wildcats allowing no points on the board with a 27-0 lead.

The Wildcats crossed the goal line for the first time deep into the fourth quarter connecting for a 10-yard pass and later put more points on the board with a 1-yard quarterback sneak, totaling their 14-points for the night.

“Our slogan for this year is ‘Leave nothing to chance’,” said Wiliams. “I give my hats off to St. Luke’s they are a great team and their kids definitely fought hard.”
