One of the Demopolis City Schools Foundation’s top fundraisers, the annual smoked turkey breast sale, is now underway.

Tickets are $25 and are on sale now from any Foundation Board member or by calling the Foundation at 289-2226.

The deadline to order is November 13 and pickup will be Saturday, November 17 from 10 a.m. to noon at Demopolis High School.

The turkey breast sale is one of the major fundraisers for the Demopolis City Schools Foundation.

Proceeds are used to support the classroom grants program, which recently awarded $50,000 to Demopolis classrooms this fall.

The Demopolis City Schools Foundation is an independent nonprofit established in 1993 to encourage private charitable support of the Demopolis public school system.  Governed by a 32-member Board of Directors, the Foundation has provided more than $900,000 in classroom grants since its inception.
