Bertha Dolores Ratcliff

Bertha Dolores Ratcliff, 76, of Meridian died Oct. 13 at Rush Hospital with family by her side in Meridian, Miss. She was a self-employed hairdresser at Idell’s Beauty Salon.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Ratcliff, brother Johnny Shirley and parents Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Shirley.

She is survived by her daughter, Trudie (Rich) Southwick of Townsend, Mont.; sons Ronnie (Delinda) Davidson of Carrollton, Texas, Roger (Teresa) Ratcliff of Demopolis and Timmy Ratcliff and Amy Conner of Meridian, Miss.; granddaughters Ashley Davidson of Carrollton, Texas, Taylor Ratcliff of Meridian, Miss., Sierra Ratcliff of Demopolis and Amber Durham of Meridian, Miss.; grandsons Chad (Tammy) Davidson of Carrollton, Texas, Daniel Ratcliff of Demopolis, Maverick Ratcliff of Demopolis, Charles Durham of Meridian, Miss., and Nicholas Gallaghner of Meridian, Miss.; great-granddaughter Gracie Davidson of Carrollton, Texas; sister Frances (Lanty) Dean of Rockwall, Texas; brother Winfred (Katherine) Shirley of Mendenhall, Miss. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chad Davidson, grandson, Daniel Ratcliff, grandson, Maverick Ratcliff, grandson, Don Parsons, Steve Martin, Butch Shirley, Roger Shirley, Rusty Dean and Michael Shirley.

Visitation will be held Friday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at robertbarhamffh.com.

Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Higganbotham officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
