The following are arrests reports from the Demopolis Police Department for the period ending Oct. 18:

•Deanna A. Johnson, 22, was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 16 for a theft of property III at Wal-Mart.

•Jessie J. Ellis, Jr., 21, was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 16 for X3 Alias writ of arrest at Crossgates apartments.

•Vera Weir, 41, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 18 for contempt of/interrupting court proceeding at the DPD.

•Larry Smith, 31, was arrested Thurday, Oct. 18 for aggravated assault-menacing-gun at the DPD.
