Thomas William Horton, 80, of Gallion died Nov. 4 at DCH. Horton was born Oct. 14, 1932, in North Zulch, Texas to the late Forest and Florence Philips Horton. He was preceded in death by parents and sons, Glenn Horton and Richard Horton. He is survived by wife, Teresa Ann Gorbett Horton; daughters, Laura Diane McCracken of Mitchell, Ind., and Malani Lee Ann Clanton (Randy) of Milano, Texas; sons, Peter J. Horton (Melissa) of Mitchell, Ind., Scott Horton (Luana) of Terre Haute, Ind., Allen Thomas Horton of Belvider, Ill. And Herbert Winfred Garrison (Rhonda) of Huntsville, Texas.

He is also further survived by half brothers, Milton Horton, Robert Horton, Frank Horton and Kenneth Horton; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Willow Hole Cemetery in North Zulch, Texas. Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel in charge of arrangements.
