Eight people have been arrested in Greene County after an undercover investigation by the 17th Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force.

The arrest were made earlier this month and more are expected, according to Task Force Commander Clint Sumlin.

Those arrest and charged with distribution of a controlled substance were Adrian Williams, Eric Harris, William Hunter, Chris Brown, Keetric Nixon, Roderick Watkins, Christopher Mobeley and Donnie Stewart.

“There are more arrests to come,” Sumlin said. “We still have more people to pick up.”

The arrests were mostly made in Eutaw but some were in other parts of the county, Sumlin said.

Authorities seized two vehicles, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during the arrests.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Eutaw Police Department and Alabama ABC Board helped the task force with the cases.
