Marvin’s Home Building Materials is collecting Santa letters to help a young boy, Tyler Morton of Fayetteville, Tenn., who has been granted a wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

To aid the foundation, Macy’s Department Stores have agreed to donate $2 for every Santa letter they receive by Dec. 14.

Marvin’s has agreed to have a drop-off box at each of their 27 stores, and the letters will be combined and sent by FedEx to Macy’s.

The deadline to turn in letters to Marvin’s stores is Saturday, Dec. 1, as letters will be boxed up and shipped to Macy’s on Sunday, Dec. 2.

The store manager of the Demopolis Marvin’s location Jennifer Stone said letters can be from anyone.

“It doesn’t matter what age you are,” she said. “Every letter can be used. Adults and children are welcome to turn in their letters.”
