The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch effective until 3 p.m. for Marengo County.

Other Alabama counties in the watch are Autauga, Chilton, Choctaw, Clarke, Dallas, Greene, Hale, Lowndes, Mobile, Perry, Sumter, Washington and Wilcox.
