The Demopolis Tigers basketball teams traveled to Uniontown on Saturday to take on R.C. Hatch for the second time this season.

The Lady Tigers won a close contest, 57-54, to improve to 6-1 this season.

The varsity boys basketball team dropped their fourth straight after losing by a score of 69-53. This moves the Tigers to just 2-5 this season.

Demopolis travels to Thomasville on Monday night to take on the Tigers.

The varsity teams will also compete in the Southeast Alabama Christmas Tournament in Dothan, which begins Thursday and goes through Saturday.
