The Linden City Council met Tuesday night and voted to have only one council meeting in January.

The reason for the change is the first scheduled meeting was for Jan. 1, which is a holiday. The January meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 4:30 p.m.

The council also approved the second reading of the business license fee increase ordinance. The fee will be moved to $12 from $10.
