In the ASWA basketball rankings released Thursday, three Marengo County teams are ranked in their respective top-10 poll.

The Marengo Academy girls’ team is still holding strong at No. 5 in the AISA top-10. Their 16-0 record has them in good position to make a run into the tournaments at the end of the season.

Marengo High School’s girls’ team is also undefeated this season and inside the Class 1A top-10. They have reached the No. 2 spot in the ASWA rankings with a 10-0 record.

The Linden boys’ team has also cracked the top-10 in this week’s rankings, moving to the No. 9 spot in the Class 1A rankings with an 11-1 record.
