Sherrell Ann “Sherry” Lashley Plemmons, 59, of 200 Green Street, died Jan. 9, 2013, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of West Point, Ga., daughter of Joe Eddie Lashley of Demopolis and the late Peggy June Harrison Lashley. She was an employee of the U.S. Post Office, Greer and of the Baptist faith.

Also surviving are a daughter, Shannon Lee McHan of Greer; her soul mate Randy Ted Emery of Greer and three brothers, Alan (Karen) Lashley of Gallion, Joey (Lynn) Lashley of Livingston and Andy (Donna) Lashley of Pensacola, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by the Rev. Greg Mickey. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Anderson, Terry Stockton, Todd Emery, Maynard Emery, Dwayne Emery and Scott Emery.

Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
