The Linden City Council met Tuesday night and approved Feb. 22-24 being Severe Weather Tax Holiday weekend.

The council also approved the purchase of six radios for the Linden police and fire departments to replace old radios that are no longer up to code. The total cost for the new radios is $2,691.20.

In addition, the council also approved an invoice of $6,600 from Goodwyn, Mills, and Cawood for a sewer grant, a project which has been ongoing.
