Mavis Darlene Daniel, 74, passed away Feb. 2 at her residence in Livingston. She was born April 2, 1938, in Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odie Levi and Alma Townsend Dendy.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Daniel; daughters, Rene (John) Lamb of Forney, Texas, Becky (Larry) Stringer of Mobile, Karen (Garry) Creighton of Demopolis; and son, Mickey Daniel.

Funeral services were held on Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. at Kirk Funeral Homes Chapel with burial in the Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Wayne Smith and Gerry Hall officiating.

Pallbearers were John Lamb, Larry Stringer, Garry Broglen, David Fletcher, Buddy Morgan and Robert Beard.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Gideons International
