Demopolis Fitness MMA brings home hardware

On Saturday, Feb. 2, the Demopolis Fitness Mixed Martial Arts team competed in the Alabama Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
With Michael Blanton, Marcus Anderson and Jacob Dill as coaches, the team came away with five state championships and two second-place finishes.

Blanton said the team did a great job at the competition.
“I thought the guys and gals did a wonderful job,” Blanton said. “They used everything that we taught them and we are very proud. They have put in hard work and determination in all of their training.”
DFMMA hopes to continue competing and working toward winning more championships.
