Leonard Lee “Bo” Lewis

Leonard Lee “Bo” Lewis, 87, of Linden, died Saturday, March 2 at DCH Regional Medical Center. He was born April 13, 1025 in Williston, Fla., and he was a retired carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his son, Rusty Lewis.

He is survived by his son, Tommy (Diane) Lewis of Tuscaloosa; daughters, Emily (Buddy) Tucker of Tuscaloosa, Barbara (Robert) Burroughs of Tuscaloosa, and Paty Martin of Tuscaloosa; brother, Joseph (Shirley) Lewis of Linden; sister, Marzee Click of Saraland; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 5 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Tony Earl Cannon officiating. Burial was at Linden Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers were Robert Popovich, Stuart Eatmon, Mike Lewis, Robert Lewis, Steven Griffies, Eddie Lewis, Joe Lewis Jr. and Charlie Courtney.

Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Lewis, Gary Minard, Kenny Lewis, Melvin Gibbs and Sonny Lawrence.
