LIVINGSTON – After winning three of four games last week and improving its record to 10-3, the University of West Alabama softball team climbed six spots to No. 19 in this week’s NFCA Top 25 Poll.

The Tigers put their ranking on the line this week with six games against Gulf South Conference competition, beginning with a doubleheader at West Georgia today. Top-ranked Valdosta State and West Florida visit the UWA Softball Complex Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

No. 1 and defending national champion Valdosta State is the only other GSC team ranked in the NFCA poll.
