U.S. Rep. Terri A. Sewell will host a “Congress in Your Community” town hall meeting in Demopolis next Wednesday to give residents a chance to share their views and concerns and hear updates from Washington, D.C.

The meeting will be Wednesday, March 27 from 10-11 a.m. at the Demopolis Civic Center.

The visit is part of a week-long series of town hall meetings throughout Sewell’s 7th Congressional District. Other stops will include Butler, Thomasville, Camden, York, Carrollton, Eutaw, Greensboro, Selma and Marion.

“I am looking forward to spending time with my constituents and learning how I can better serve them in Congress,” Rep Sewell said. “This town hall meeting is an exciting opportunity to connect with the citizens I serve and I look forward to hearing from each of them during this time.”

The Demopolis Civic Center is located at 501 North Commissioners St.
