LIVINGSTON – The University of West Alabama men’s soccer team is sponsoring the More Cans, Less Calories 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, April 14. In addition to raising money for the Tiger soccer program, the team will be collecting canned goods to donate to the Sumter County Department of Human Resources Food Bank.

Race day registration begins at 9 a.m. on April 14 next to the Dollar General store in Livingston. The race begins at 10 a.m. All paying participants will receive a T-shirt. Cold drinks and fruit will be provided at the end of the race.

Registration is $15 through Monday, April 8, $10 with UWA identification. The walk-up registration fee is $25. Checks can be made payable to UWA Men’s Soccer and may be mailed to UWA Men’s Soccer, 1 College Drive, Livingston, AL 35470 or payment may be delivered to Foust Hall 5E on the UWA campus.
