The UWA Exercise Science Club is sponsoring a 5k-walk/run beginning at Dollar General in Livingston and going through UWA’s campus on Sunday, April 14 at 10 a.m.

They will be raising money for the UWA Men’s Soccer team to help them with expenses during their upcoming 2013-2014 season. Their goal is to get as much community involvement as possible, to get their name out in the community and collect cans for the local food pantry.

Participants will receive a 5k t-shirt and they are encouraged to bring canned goods to donate. Beverages and snacks will be provided during the event. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and is $20.
