Joyce Ann Dennison, 66, a homemaker of Gallion, died Tuesday, April 30 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 8, 1946, in Gallion. She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Dennison; two grandchildren, Jordan Kaylor and Chase Kaylor; parents, Henry and Donnie Cobb; two sisters, Lean Earl Cobb and Ilene McPherson; and brother, David Cobb.

She is survived by two sons, Robbie (Stephanie) Kaylor and Mike Kaylor of Gallion; three daughters, Dana Tucker of Linden, Barbara (Brett) Etheridge of Gallion and Lee Ann Langley of Linden; five sisters, Mildred Duke, Dot (Harold) Pruitt, Juliette “Cudie” Hinson of Gallion, Margie (Don) Williams of Demopolis and June (Jim) Hadley of Brewton; brother, Winston (Janice) Cobb of Gallion; six grandchildren, Lance (Amanda Smith) Kaylor, Hagen (Katie) Kaylor, Trent Kaylor, Shanea Kaylor, Caleb Kaylor, and Hannah Kaylor; one great-grandchild, Keegan Scott Kaylor; two brothers-in-law, Dickie McPherson of Gallion and Billy Dennison of Sweet Water; two sisters-in-law, Carol Anderson and Sharyn Cooke of Sweet Water.

Graveside funeral services were held at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery on Friday, May 3 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Warren Huggins and Paul Whitcomb officiating.

Active pallbearers were Keith Hinson, Donnie Cobb, Darrell Cobb, Ricky McPherson, Greg McPherson and David Barnes.

Honorary pallbearers were John Dennison, staff of Southern Care Hospice, Tonya Glass and Pattie Luker.
