The University of West Alabama baseball team has announced that it will hold open tryouts for graduated high school seniors and junior college transfers on Saturday, June 8 at 3 p.m. at Tartt Field.

Each participant in the tryout must provide proof of a medical physical, which should be signed by a physician and dated within the past six months.

Each athlete will also need a signed sickle cell release form. If the participant is under 18, they must have the waiver and sickle cell release co-signed by a parent or guardian.

To participate in the tryout, prospective players must be a high school senior or older and cannot be currently participating in their high school baseball season.
