Local students make UWA President’s, Dean’s Lists

Several students from Marengo County were among the 400 outstanding undergraduates named to the University of West Alabama’s President’s and Dean’s Lists for the Spring 2013 semester.

To reach the President’s List, students must earn at least a 3.80 grade point average while attempting at 12 semester hours. Local students named to the President’s List are below.

Demopolis: Madison Davidson, Kevan Momenpour, Ronald Richardson, Titania Richey, Jennifer Silcox, and Angela Ward.

Dixon Mills: Nakarra Young and Amber Hudson.

Gallion: Jessica Brock and Savanna Cannon.

Linden: Tony Cannon, Kristen Halkias and Lonisa Sims.

Sweet Water: Lincoln Luker and Barry Meeks.

To be named to the Dean’s List, students must obtain at least a 3.25 grade point average while attempting at least 12 semester hours. Local students named to the Dean’s List are below.

Demopolis: Alicia Broadhead, Rachel Buroker, Thomas Cramer, Nicole Davis, Sherilyn Garner, Sesha Gentry, Anquanetta Gracie, Lablinka Harris, Norbert Perret, Charles Pickett, Katrina Sprinkle, Mark Thorne and Danielle Williams.

Gallion: Jonathon Collins, Deanna Maura and Maria Norah.

Linden: Maleah Digmon, James Glass, Caitlin Moore and Randall Sanders.

Magnolia: Marcus Richardson and Anitra Tolbert.

Sweet Water: Krista Black, Charlie Glover, Jessica Poellnitz and William Ware.

Thomaston: Elizabeth Mims.
