“They see patients much like a physicians does,” said Willis.

Willis will be the third CRNP at Chu Clinic, joining Linde McAdams and Ellen Singleton. She will work in both the Demopolis and Linden office.

Willis completed her undergraduate work at Troy University and her graduate degree at the University of South Alabama.

She said her family has enjoyed the transition to Demopolis.

“It’s a more slow pace, which is kind of nice. It’s very family friendly,” Willis said.

Before moving to Demopolis, she worked for a large internal medicine office in Dothan. She grew up in a military family and served in the Army as an air traffic controller.

Her husband was senior pastor Highland Park United Methodist Church.

They have two children, Chris, who is in his second year of law school at the University of Alabama, and Sam, who just started ninth grade at Demopolis High.
