The following are the arrest reports for the Demopolis Police Department for the period ending Aug. 30:

Shirley M. Smith, 28, was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 27 for third-degree theft of property and contempt of court-failure to appear at Highway 80 West.

James H. Yelverton, 19, was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 28 for third-degree theft of property at DPD.

Eddie Henton III, 28, was arrested Thursday, Aug. 29 on two counts of alias warrant at the Marengo County jail.

Gary D. Adams, 50, was arrested Thursday, Aug. 29 for third-degree assault at DPD.
