West Alabama juniors Lydia Sutcliffe, Nicki Gears and freshman Rebekah Craig each recorded multiple goals in a 13-0 victory over Judson College on Tuesday. Craig posted her first collegiate hat trick while Sutcliffe and Gears each tallied two.

“Today was a very professional all around team performance,” said UWA head women’s soccer coach Graeme Orr. “We had a number of outstanding individual performances today, which leads to selection problems in the future. As a coach, that is a great problem to have at this point in the season.”

West Alabama (5-3) overall out-shot Judson (2-9) 32-2; 20-1 shots on-goal. Nine different Tigers found the net while Natalie Mooney, Paige Almond and Kirsten Reily each finished with 1.000 shot percentage.

Goalkeeper Anna Eastis held the Eagles scoreless for the first 73 minutes in her first collegiate start. Jess Martin closed the match with one save to split the shutout.

UWA now returns to Gulf South Conference action to host Alabama-Huntsville on Friday. The match is set for 7 p.m. in Tiger Stadium.
