The deadline for entry into the 2013 Demopolis High School homecoming parade is Wednesday, Oct. 16.

The theme for the parade this year is ‘superheroes.’

Entrants into the parade are required to register with parade directors at Demopolis High School by the deadline.

All non-school sponsored organizations and individuals will be required to pay a non-refundable $10 entrance fee per vehicle at the time of registration.

All entrants must also have their entry vehicle decorated according to the parade’s theme. No music will be allowed without prior approval from the parade directors or DHS principal Dr. Tony Speegle. Also, no décor, displays, flags or insignia found to be injurious to anyone will be allowed.

There will also be no horses allowed in the parade.

The parade will be held Friday, Oct. 18 preceding the Demopolis Tigers’ game against Satsuma.
