Mary Estelle Smith, 82, a former bookkeeper of Linden, died Oct. 28 at DCH Regional Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 31, 1931, in Hawkinsville, Ga.

She is survived by her sons, Lynwood Smith of Linden and Mike Smith of Linden; sister, Yvonne Harrell of Eaton, Ga.; grandchildren, Gray Smith of Thomasvillle, Brandon Smith of Demopolis, Cory Smith of Linden, Hale Smith of Thomaston, Michael Smith Jr. of Linden, Staci Smith Jordan of Linden and Robbie Smith of Linden; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services were held at Linden Memorial Park on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Warren Huggins officiating.

Active pallbearers were all of her grandchildren.
