Darryl LeDuff Matthews, 48 of Lansing, Mich., the beloved son of Jeanetta LeDuff Mitchell of Linden, entered into eternal rest Nov. 2 at his home.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Michelle Boyer Matthews; daughters, Martisha Howard, Dara and Miah Matthews; son, Jordan Matthews; two grandchildren, Sanchez Carter and Reuben Hunter Jr.; devoted mother, Jeanetta LeDuff Mitchell; three brothers, Marvin Glover, Warren and Shawn LeDuff; three sisters, Phyllis Davis, Mary (Kelvin) Alvis and Loraine LeDuff; God-sister, Joyce Mitchell; devoted nephew, TarShawn LeDuff; mother-in-law, Gloria Holt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. at the Chalk Level AME Zion Church on Highway 69 near Myrtlewood with the Rev. Charles Catrell officiating. Interment followed in the Sand Hill Cemetery.
