Five new floats featured in COTR day parade

The Christmas on the River day parade saw five new floats this year.

One new float was a steamboat, which carried the Demopolis High School and Demopolis Middle School choirs.

The other four floats represented the seasons. On the winter float, which was designed to replicated St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, was Trinity Episcopal Church.

The spring float showed different parts of spring, and friends and families of Alabama Power employees were on it.
