Seth Carter entered into eternal rest Dec. 27 in Birmingham.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Christian Valley Baptist Church in Boligee with the Rev. Tracy Jowers officiating. Interment followed in the Taylor Place Cemetery in Boligee.

Survivors include two sons, Gregory Carter and Devon Dunaway; four daughters, Valerie Barrett, Stephanie Sturdivant, Shandetra Colvin and Tawanda Carter; five granddaughters; four grandsons; three great-grandchildren; 11 sisters; five brothers; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
