Perry County wreck claims life, ALDOT issues travel advisory

A two-vehicle crash Tuesday in Perry County claimed the life of a Birmingham woman.

Emma Evans, 64, was killed when the vehicle she was driving collided with another car.

The crash occurred at 11:05 a.m. on Alabama 5 at the 75 mile marker, 12 miles north of Marion.

Preliminary investigation indicates the crash may have been weather-related.

Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
