UWA women’s tennis falls to Flagler

Flagler College ended the University of West Alabama women’s tennis team’s scheduled spring break slate on a sour note by defeating the Tigers, 7-2, Tuesday at the Flagler Tennis Center.

Flagler, ranked third in the Southeast Region, improved to 9-2 with its eighth straight victory. West Alabama is 16-4.

West Alabama’s wins came from Dasha Popova and Shannon McEvoy at No. 5 and 6 singles, respectively, after the outcome of the match had been settled.
