Prystup Packaging Products of Livingston was named the Medium Manufacturer of the Year by the Birmingham Business Council and the Alabama Technology Network recently.

An awards luncheon was held at the Alabama Activity Center in Montgomery for the 2014 Manufacturer of the Year Awards. The awards program began in 2000 and recognizes Alabama’s manufacturing enterprises that exhibit excellence in leadership, performance, profitability and work force relations.

Winning manufacturers are judged in the following areas: customer focus, employee commitment, operating excellence, continuous improvement, profitable growth and investment in training and retraining.

Prystup won the category of manufacturers with 100-399 employees. Founded by J.
