Norma Jean Malone Jowers passed away Wednesday, June 4 surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her husband, Walter E. Jowers; daughters, Christy (David) Garner, Beth (Harvey) West and Angel Mills; sister, Pat (Jimmy) Sanford; borther, Dale (Michelle) Jowers; seven grandchildren, Lydia (Mark) Williams, Jessica (Seth) Raulston, Andrew Bedsole, Marc (Mary Alice) Mills, Harvey West, Amanda (Kyle) Raybon and Ashley (Justin) Parnell; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Todd Jowers; her mother, Sybil Malone; and her father Norman S. Malone.

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, June 8 at 10 a.m. at Lower Pool Park. All friends and family are welcome and are encouraged to share stories about Mrs. Norma.
