Windham named Chamber Member of the Week

Jason Windham, the owner of Batter Up Sports Bar and Grill, Suds and Holiday Cleaners, has been named this week’s Chamber Member of the Week.
Windham moved to Demopolis in 2003 after being given the opportunity to buy Holiday Cleaners from Thomas and Kayte Melton.

When he bought the business, he spent three weeks in Silver Springs, Md., at the International Fabricare Institute learning about fabrics and the dry cleaning business.
When Windham purchased Holiday Cleaners, it was still located in downtown Demopolis. In 2006, Windham built the space in its current location on Highway 80 in front of the old Wal-Mart.
Not long after opening Suds and Holiday Cleaners in the new location, he decided to open Batter Up.
Windham and his wife, Carey, have been married since 2004, and they have two children, Miller and Reed.
Batter Up is open from 5-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Suds is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day of the year.
Holiday Cleaners is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
