The Demopolis Board of Education approved personnel recommendations during a called meeting Friday afternoon.

The board approved the following recommendations from Superintendent Dr. Al Griffin:

•Accept resignation of U.S. Jones special education teacher Jennifer Falus

•Post USJ special education teacher position through Aug. 4

•Hire Shawn Nikki Cobb as USJ special education aide

•Remove Leslie Gibbs for yearbook sponsor supplement and add Courtney Kerby

•Hire Molly Malone as teacher at Westside Elementary
